Transmashholding opens machine-building plant in South Africa

MOSCOW, Apr 2 (PRIME) -- Russian railway equipment producer Transmashholding has opened a machine-building plant under the brand of TMH Africa in South African Republic’s city of Boksburg, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The plant will assemble different types of rolling stock, and carry out maintenance and upgrade works on the stock. The plant will not just focus on South African Republic, but will also work with other countries of Africa, the statement read.

Transmashholding closed an acquisition of DCD Rolling Stock machine-building plant in Boksburg in October 2018.
